Here are some beautiful photos taken prior to turkey season in the Chickasawhatchee Wildlife Management Area in Georgia. Located southwest of Albany, the Chickasawhatchee Swamp was the site of “a decisive battle of the Southern Indian Wars” on July 3, 1836.
