This one made the rounds in ’09. Hunter Al Klassen took this bull elk in the Yukon on September 25, 2009. Elk were relocated from Elk Island National Park in Alberta back in the 1950s and 2009 was the first year they were hunted. Fifteen permits were drawn for the Takhini herd. Klassen has been a sheep guide in the Yukon and Northwest Territories where he has personally guided for over 100 Dall Ram harvests.
