Talk about a good day on the water!  Beach Billy was aboard the Pole Position on Friday as they headed offshore from Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina and it wasn’t long before the lines started singing!  Among this motley bunch was Billy’s good buddy, John Boy, of the Charlotte-based and nationally syndicated radio morning show, “John Boy & Billy Big Show“.  There’s nothing like fresh fried mahi on a Friday night.

Doubletough fisherman Stephen Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina made a summertime run to the Florida Keys this year where he and a buddy hooked into these big dolphin.  Stephen has been a longtime outdoorsman and has enjoyed going after deer and ducks, but the ocean is his first love.  From shrimping the creeks and waterways of the Carolinas to bluewater billfish offshore, he always seems to come back to the dock with a great story.
