This one came from Bubba and while it’s a couple years old, still impressive. The shooter, Chad from Glen Ullin, North Dakota gave this account, ”I grunted him into about 55 yards and shot him head-on. He dropped in his tracks.” Chad was in his blind in the cold Dakota weather for seven hours before this buck came along!
Final measurements were 27 inch main beams with 5.5 inches of mass. The tallest tines were 13.25 inches.
Nice work Chad and thanks to Bubba for sharing!

Great deer. Look at the length of those tines!
That’s a beauty! It’s been rumored that I was complaining about spending 20 + hours in a blind during antelope season with temps over 110 degrees (lies, all lies) but I certainly would complain about spending any amount of time in a blind when it’s freezing cold – I’m not a cold weather kind of guy.
