Jamie Land of Manning, South Carolina dropped this fine buck during what turned out to be a tough season all over the state. With a bumper crop of acorns on the ground coupled with a late frost, deer were tough to come by on most stands but coming from a family that knows a few things about hunting and being patient, it was just a matter of time.
At thirteen, Jamie showed the steady hand of a seasoned hunter as he dropped the buck where he stood at 75 yards using a .243 caliber rifle. The buck weighed in at 175 pounds and sported a 15″ spread.
