This submission came with a note saying the two men were “looking for animal horns near Vernon, Utah”. What we’ve got here are two Doubletough guys coming across a mountain lion during lunch, but rather than defend its kill, it welcomes them like a long-lost pet! Remarkably, the cat appears to let one of them touch it on the muzzle and even sniffs their rifle.
The photos look pretty old and I guess the men were expecting trouble if they were shed hunting with a rifle in hand. If you know anything about these photos, drop us a line.

Not true this happened in Rogerson Idaho in 98 while hunting coyotes and lions. This was a young cub fresh off a kill i know this because the man holding the gun is my brotherinlaw Cody Robinson. The others are Danny and Cory Skinner. There is more pics of this same cat at rogerson service store in Rogerson Idaho.
