This one comes out of Tensas Parish, Louisiana: Bowhunter Billy Husted harvested this buck which green scored 215 7/8 and projected to be a Pope & Young record for the state. The story goes that it was taken on private property and this was Husted’s second outing after a near thirty year absence from the sport.
The buck was taken at 35 yards and found the following morning 150 yards from where it was struck. The buck was believed to be five years old. Check out additional photos after the jump.
