Where I come from, snakes are all over but you have to have a good eye before stepping on them. Down in Del Rio, Texas apparently, you’re likely to shiver in yer boots running over a speed bump in the Walmart parking lot because that’s about the same size as their big rattlers.

Don’t know if it is true or not – but a 90 some odd pound rattler supposedly from Idaho showed up in my inbox the other day. Don’t really care if it’s true or not – a rattle snake of any size is too big in my eyes.
