Chip July 30, 2008 Deer, Featured, Hunting

A little over two weeks, that’s what we’ve got until the opening of bow season for deer in South Carolina.  I picked up my first bow a couple years ago then blew out my achilles and will be giving it a go, finally, this year.

To get primed I’ve been shooting every day, watching the Outdoor Channel every night and blowing my Primos calls on my way to work!  And when Big Brother isn’t looking, I’m checking out these great shots from a friend in Charleston who participated in a survey a couple years ago on property owned by his boss.  The property is high-fenced and grandfathered in after such fences were outlawed years ago.  Just last year they began harvesting some of these big boys.  I regret not being able to sit for their survey in 2007 but will darn sure make it this year if invited.

    Chippy, Chippy,
How come there is nothing about the great state of Nort Dakota and the deer hunting up here. Or the deer that were taken by fair chase out of the man shack up here at the Devil?????
